Something about a Porch
When I was working on my new listing at 83 South St, Braintree, I started thinking about how much I loved the 3-season porch in my childhood home. It wasn’t as large as the porch at my new listing, but boy, we used that space practically year round!
Originally an open porch, my parents added insulated doors and full windows. And the typical indoor-outdoor carpeting. Fully windows provided sunshine and warmth on all but the chillest days and the large screens let the breezes through and kept bugs out on the hot ones! Similar to 83 South St (above), the 3-season porch was off the kitchen and very much the heart of the home!
